From the LG submittal: rated 40,600 Btu/h in heating. Refrigerant connections are 3/8 Flare liquid and 5/8 Flare vapor. Power is 208-230V, 1-phase (indoor units are powered independently of the outdoor unit on Multi V systems).
What this indoor unit needs
- Outdoor unit: any LG Multi V (R32) outdoor unit at matching voltage (208-230V). LG allows total connected indoor capacity up to about 120% of the outdoor unit's rated capacity — see the combination data manual under Documentation for the exact table.
- Heat recovery: on a heat-recovery system this indoor unit connects through a PRHR branch-distribution unit; on a heat-pump system it connects directly.
- Controls: compatible with LG's wired and central controllers (PREMTB, MultiSITE™ CRC, AC Smart); a controller is not included.
Installation must follow the LG installation manual linked under Documentation, by a contractor trained on LG VRF equipment. LG VRF systems carry their own limited warranty, separate from the residential line.
