Overview
LG PRHR033C is a 3-port heat recovery unit (branch distribution unit) for LG Multi V heat-recovery VRF systems, running on R32. It routes refrigerant so that some zones heat while others cool on the same system, with one port per connected indoor unit. It replaces PRHR033A.
80.2 lb net, 208-230/60/1 power. Multiple HR units can be cascaded on one system where zone counts exceed a single unit's ports.
Application notes
- Connects up to 3 indoor units; each port serves one indoor unit.
- Required only on heat-recovery (simultaneous heat/cool) systems — heat-pump systems connect indoor units directly.
- Mount in an accessible ceiling space with service clearance; the unit contains electronic expansion valves and requires power and communication wiring.
- Match the refrigerant family: R32 systems use R32 branch units.
