LG KSUAB181A is the complete 18,000 BTU (1.5 Ton) R32 single-zone wall-mount ductless mini split heat pump system from LG's High Efficiency line: the KNUAB181A indoor unit and the KUSAB181A inverter outdoor unit, sold together as the matched, AHRI-rated pair. It is rated 23.0 SEER2, 13.00 EER2, 10.0 HSPF2, runs on 208-230 / 60 / 1 power (19 A MCA / 30 A MOP), and is the direct R32 replacement for the R-410A LS181HSV5 (LSN181HSV5 + LSU181HSV5).
Capacity modulates across 3,070 / 18,000 / 24,210 Btu/h in cooling and 3,070 / 21,600 / 30,020 Btu/h in heating (min / rated / max), so the system idles at part load instead of cycling. Heating continues down to -4°F outdoor, with 18,600 Btu/h available at 17°F and 15,120 Btu/h at 5°F. The indoor unit runs as low as 31 dB(A); the outdoor unit is 55 dB(A) in cooling.
