Overview
LG KSSLE422A is the complete 42,000 BTU (3.5 Ton) R32 single-zone multi-position air handler heat pump system from LG's Contractor Value (CV) Multi-Position Air Handler line: the KNSLE422A indoor unit and the KUSXE421A inverter outdoor unit, sold together as the matched, AHRI-rated pair. It is rated 16.00 SEER2, 8.20 EER2, 8.5 HSPF2, runs on 208-230/60/1 power (30.1 A MCA / 35 A MOP).
Capacity modulates across 17,000 / 41,000 / 42,000 Btu/h in cooling and 18,000 / 42,000 / 44,000 Btu/h in heating (min / rated / max), so the system idles at part load instead of cycling. Heating continues down to 4°F outdoor, with 30,570 Btu/h available at 17°F and 25,200 Btu/h at 5°F. The indoor unit runs as low as 36 dB(A); the outdoor unit is 52 dB(A) in cooling.
