Overview
LG KSSLB481A is the complete 48,000 BTU (4 Ton) R32 single-zone multi-position air handler heat pump system from LG's High Efficiency Multi-Position Air Handler line: the KNSLB481A indoor unit and the KUSXB481A inverter outdoor unit, sold together as the matched, AHRI-rated pair. It is rated 19.00 SEER2, 12.30 EER2, 9.60 HSPF2, runs on 208-230/60/1 power (32 A MCA / 40 A MOP), and is the direct R32 replacement for the R-410A LV480HV2 (LVN480HV + LUU601HV).
Capacity modulates across 18,400 / 46,000 / 55,000 Btu/h in cooling and 19,000 / 50,000 / 63,000 Btu/h in heating (min / rated / max), so the system idles at part load instead of cycling. Heating continues down to -13°F outdoor, with 54,000 Btu/h available at 17°F and 46,000 Btu/h at 5°F. The indoor unit runs as low as 37 dB(A); the outdoor unit is 54 dB(A) in cooling.
