Overview
LG KSSLA121A is the complete 12,000 BTU (1 Ton) R32 single-zone multi-position air handler heat pump system from LG's High Efficiency Multi-Position Air Handler line: the KNSLB121A indoor unit and the KUSXA121A inverter outdoor unit, sold together as the matched, AHRI-rated pair. It is rated 17.00 SEER2, 13.30 EER2, 9.80 HSPF2, runs on 208-230/60/1 power (19.1 A MCA / 30 A MOP).
Capacity modulates across 5,000 / 12,500 / 17,500 Btu/h in cooling and 6,000 / 15,000 / 19,500 Btu/h in heating (min / rated / max), so the system idles at part load instead of cycling. Heating continues down to -13°F outdoor, with 16,300 Btu/h available at 17°F and 15,000 Btu/h at 5°F. The indoor unit runs as low as 28 dB(A); the outdoor unit is 51 dB(A) in cooling.
