Overview
LG KSSAE181A is the complete 18,000 BTU (1.5 Ton) R32 single-zone wall-mount ductless mini split heat pump system from LG's Standard Efficiency line: the KNSAE181A indoor unit and the KUSAE181A inverter outdoor unit, sold together as the matched, AHRI-rated pair. It is rated 18 SEER2, 12 EER2, 8.9 HSPF2, runs on 208-230/60/1 power (15 A MCA / 20 A MOP), and is the direct R32 replacement for the R-410A LS180HFV3 (LSN180HFV3 + LSU180HFV3).
Capacity modulates across 3,685 / 18,000 / 19,600 Btu/h in cooling and 3,685 / 19,000 / 23,000 Btu/h in heating (min / rated / max), so the system idles at part load instead of cycling. Heating continues down to 5°F outdoor, with 15,800 Btu/h available at 17°F and 13,300 Btu/h at 5°F. The indoor unit runs as low as 32 dB(A); the outdoor unit is 55 dB(A) in cooling.
